36" HARD TO FIND WIDTH NEWMAN S970 DOUBLE SIDED PLANER WITH "QUIET CUT" HEADS. CLEANED AND CHECKED.
This heavy duty double surfacer was manufactured in North Carolina. Newman - Whitney is the leading brand in high production wood planers. The machine features the Quiet Cut carbide insert cutterheads. These heads give you a true shearing cut, reducing surface defects and operating at a much lower noise level. Working dimensions: 36" Width x 7" thickness. Minimum 1/8" thick capacity. length 14" x R/L. Heads: 40 HP top head with 30 HP bottom head. Newman Quiet Cut Helical heads.
