Makor LP-8 Profile Moulding Sander (8) Sanding stations, 7-7/8" max. width & 3-1/8" thickness cap. ; (3) triangular belt design sanding heads, independently mounted columns, each with 4 HP motor, variable speed from 100-2,750 RPM; approx. tilting range 120 degrees. Feed Drive: 4 HP Gearbox feed drive; feed speeds from 23-115 FPM, Segmented rough top rubber wheel hold downs; Lineshaft drive under the length machine with right-angle take-off to each belt segment. Sanding Wheels: (5) Abrasive wheel/Disc-type sanding heads each with 4 HP motor dual speed for 700 or 1,400 RPM arbor, abrasive wheel dia.; units are independently mounted on their own columns. This machine was used in the production of the Victoria Secrets stores with the high gloss mouldings and have the look of the high gloss polyester. The only way this can be done is with a machine that can sand the sub-straight to a great deal of perfection for that high gloss finish will have the proper appearance. This machine has been refurbished.
